The Old Byre is adjacent to the 18th Century manse house at Duror in Argyllshire. From the front door a 10 minute walk brings you to the sea loch of Cuil Bay on Loch Linnhe
with its sea otters, sea eagles and ever curious families of seals; another 20 minutes and you can enjoy the spectacular views from the gentle slopes of Beinn a' Bheithir
; 30 minutes in the car and you're skiing in Glencoe
